Thank you for your support this year. Your generosity with bringing in food and helping with various needs has been overwhelming. Thank you!

At this time, we are asking for gift cards to give to teachers when they want to purchase items (including food) for various class activities, and for the administration to give to teachers for a pat on the back and a token of appreciation. Counseling Announcements

Schedule Changes

Schedule Changes are completed. Counselors will no longer be accepting schedule change requests for Semester 2.

School Counseling Week

February 5-9 is National School Counseling Week! Please join us in thanking our amazing counseling team for all they do for our students.

New & Exciting Changes!

The counseling department has undergone some changes. Mrs. Chapman has taken a job in North Carolina. As a result, we have done some rearranging of the department.

*Ms. Sorenson will take over the counseling of the 10-12th grade students. She will be sending out an e-mail today to schedule CCRs for juniors, so be watching for that.

*Mrs. Ranger has taken some personal time. Ms. Sorenson will be counseling with her students for now.

*We have hired a new counselor, Mrs. Heather Lewis, to counsel the 7-9th grade students. She is awesome and we are so excited to have her as part of the Student Services team!

Hello! from Mrs. Lewis

Hello! My name is Heather Lewis but I prefer to be called Ms Heather.

I’ve been a licensed school counselor for 20+ years and I am very excited about my new role as the 7-9th grade counselor at Maeser Prep. I have lived all over the country and moved to Utah six years ago from South Carolina with my husband and 4 children.

When I’m not at Maeser, I’m an art therapist in Heber Valley. I enjoy hiking Guardsman Pass, creating art in my home studio and eating shrimp tacos.
Thanks for the warm welcome. Your students are very kind and polite.

Counseling Donations

The Middle School Counseling team is in need of large bags of individual sized candy. You can use this towards your volunteer hours!

Kind: an assortment- chocolate, hard candy like jolly ranchers, tootsie pops or rolls, whatever comes in the assorted bags is fine. We would like some non-chocolate as well.

Amount: 4-5 bags/month

Can We Reach You In Case Of Emergency?

It’s important to keep your contact information up to date and opt-in to receive text messages from Maeser — in case of an emergency, this is how we notify parents! In addition, we use your contact information to notify you about important school events and school fees deadlines.

Here’s how to make sure you’re getting all of our important announcements and information:

Opt In For School Text Messages

Our school utilizes the SchoolMessenger system to deliver text messages to your mobile phone with important information about events, school closings, safety alerts, student fees, and more. We will only use text messaging for urgent and important information.

You can participate in this service by sending a text message of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587.

You can also opt out of text messages at any time by simply replying to one of our messages with “Stop”.

Update Your Contact Information

If any of your contact information has changed – email address, mailing address, phone number – please let us know asap so we can be sure you’re getting school and teacher communications.

Thank you for helping us keep in contact with your family!
