Halloween Activities TODAY (Friday, October 28)

Halloween Costumes

TODAY — Friday, October 28th (Advisory Friday) — is the ONLY day students will be allowed to come to school in costume. Students may wear a costume while they are at the school working with teachers if they would like. All costumes must meet the following guidelines:

  • no gore
  • no masks (we have to be able to quickly know who everyone is)
  • no weapons (even fake ones)
  • no street clothes masquerading as costumes (students may not dress as a “regular high school student” wearing jeans and a t-shirt)
  • keep costumes modest

Monday, October 31st is a Full Dress Day and no costumes or costume items will be allowed on campus.

Trunk Or Treat

This year’s Trunk-or-Treat will take place on Friday, October 28th, from 12:30-1:30pm in the church parking lot right beside Maeser campus (near the light poles). Come decorate your car at noon! To sign up to bring a decorated car or extra candy, please visit our SignUpGenius: Trunk or Treat

HS Halloween Stomp

The Halloween Stomp is also happening today from 8pm-11pm in the gym. Stomps are for high school students only. Admission is $5 per person at the door. Costumes are encouraged and must meet the guidelines listed above.

2023-24 Re-Enrollment & Enrollment

Re-Enrollment Starts on Tuesday, November 1 (Ends Wednesday, November 30)

Does your student wish to return to Maeser for the 2023-2024 school year? If so, you MUST complete re-enrollment by Wednesday, November 30.

Re-Enrollment consists of TWO STEPS:

  • Watch for an email on November 1 with instructions to complete the online re-enrollment form through your PowerSchool Parent Portal.
  • Pay the $50 re-enrollment deposit (nonrefundable and non-transferrable; will be applied toward your student’s 2023-2024 student fees).

If you do not complete the online re-enrollment and pay the deposit by the re-enrollment deadline, your student will lose their spot for the 2023-2024 school year AND will lose their “returning student” priority status if you decide to submit a new application.

If you have any questions, please contact our registrar at registrar@maeserprep.org.

Applications for New Students Open on Tuesday, November 1

If you would like to apply to Maeser for your student’s siblings for the 2023-2024 school year, be sure to submit an application beginning on Tuesday, November 1. Applications can be found on the Maeser website under Admissions. Please be sure that you are using the 2023-2024 link (available on November 1)!

All applications received by midnight on Tuesday, January 31 will be entered into our lottery. Siblings of current students will receive priority status in the lottery. After the lottery, any applications will be added to the waitlist.

If you have any questions, please contact our registrar at registrar@maeserprep.org.

Can We Reach You In Case Of Emergency?

It’s important to keep your contact information up to date and opt-in to receive text messages from Maeser — in case of an emergency, this is how we notify parents! In addition, we use your contact information to notify you about important school events and school fees deadlines.

Here’s how to make sure you’re getting all of our important announcements and information:

Opt In For School Text Messages

Our school utilizes the SchoolMessenger system to deliver text messages to your mobile phone with important information about events, school closings, safety alerts, student fees, and more. We will only use text messaging for urgent and important information.

You can participate in this service by sending a text message of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587.

You can also opt out of text messages at any time by simply replying to one of our messages with “Stop”.

Update Your Contact Information

If any of your contact information has changed – email address, mailing address, phone number – please let us know asap so we can be sure you’re getting school and teacher communications.

Thank you for helping us keep in contact with your family!
