Enrollment for 2024-2025

Re-Enrollment Due November 29

Re-enrollment is now open for the 2024-2025 school year!

Please remember that you must re-enroll each of your students who will be returning NEXT school year by Wednesday, November 29 at 4:00 PM.

If you miss this window, your student(s) will lose priority status for next year and will have to re-apply without current student priority status.

Re-enrollment is completed through your PowerSchool parent portal. Be sure to use a browser (not the app) and sign in using your parent PowerSchool account credentials (not your student’s account credentials). Pay the $50 re-enrollment deposit on RevTrak or to the front office.

If you need help with your PowerSchool parent login (make sure you’re not using your student’s PowerSchool login), please call the front office at 801-235-9000 or email info@maeserprep.org. If you have any other questions, please email registrar@maeserprep.org.

NOTE: If you have other children starting at Maeser next year, you need to submit an application for them (it will ask you if they have a current sibling here, which will give them priority status). Applications are on our website under Admissions.

New Student Applications Now Open

If you would like your current student’s sibling(s) to attend Maeser next year, you must submit an application by January 31, 2024 for each sibling here: https://maeserprep.org/admissions/

NOTE: Do not use this application to re-enroll current students for next year. Re-enrollment is done via your parent PowerSchool portal.

New student applications are completed in our Maeser Enrollment Portal (MAP)–the link above will take you there–which is a different system from your PowerSchool parent portal that is used to re-enroll your current student(s). If you have not used our MAP system before, please create an account. If you have used the system before and can’t remember your password, please click on “Forgot Password?”. If you can’t remember the email you used to set up your account, please email registrar@maeserprep.org for help.

Tell your friends & neighbors that they can submit an application on our website, too! If they apply by January 31, 2024, their student(s) will be in the lottery.

Time and Routines

Fall back, Spring Forward… You either love it or hate it. How are you all doing with the time change this past week? Me? I fall in the I hate it category. You know why I hate it, it messes with my circadian clock. You know, that teeny bundle of neurons deep in your hypothalamus in your brain. It regulates so much in your body- like how much sleep you get. It tells your body to be awake in the day and sleepy at night, you know, when it is dark.

Have you ever met someone that can tell the time by just looking at the sun? My grandfather, a rancher, could do that. I am sort of like that, I can tell you approximately what the hour it is based on the sun and what I am doing at that moment. But when the time changes, twice a year, I get confused unless a clock is near for me to look at because the light is different and I can’t figure out what time it is.

That is why routines are so important. If we have and keep a regular morning routine, study routine, and evening routine, we can reset our circadian clock, we can be more productive and not forget important things, like that homework assignment that is due today and we haven’t even started. Keeping the same routine at home during the weekend as we have during our school days will also help our circadian clock remain set and producing the right amount of melatonin at the right time so we can be awake and alert during school and rest at night when we need to refresh our bodies.

I challenge you to set and keep a good morning, evening and study routine with your student and to keep to the same hours and schedule as much as possible and see if that helps them be more productive during this busy time of the school year.

Can We Reach You In Case Of Emergency?

It’s important to keep your contact information up to date and opt-in to receive text messages from Maeser — in case of an emergency, this is how we notify parents! In addition, we use your contact information to notify you about important school events and school fees deadlines.

Here’s how to make sure you’re getting all of our important announcements and information:

Opt In For School Text Messages

Our school utilizes the SchoolMessenger system to deliver text messages to your mobile phone with important information about events, school closings, safety alerts, student fees, and more. We will only use text messaging for urgent and important information.

You can participate in this service by sending a text message of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587.

You can also opt out of text messages at any time by simply replying to one of our messages with “Stop”.

Update Your Contact Information

If any of your contact information has changed – email address, mailing address, phone number – please let us know asap so we can be sure you’re getting school and teacher communications.

Thank you for helping us keep in contact with your family!
