MSI Announcements
Middle School Intensives (MSI) will begin on Thursday, January 2nd. School begins at 9:00am and ends at 2:00pm. All middle school students will be receiving a packet containing more information about MSI and another packet containing permission slips for field trips. Students who have not received a packet can stop by Mr. Norris’s office to get one.
MSI Sewing
All 8th grade students will participate in a sewing unit during Middle School Intensives in January. You will need to bring the following items to the sewing class.
- 2/3 yard of fleece fabric (60 inches wide) for making 2 hats
- 3 buttons: one 2-hole, one 4-hole, and a shank button
- Two 8-inch squares of print cotton for a quilt square (you may bring extra fabric for more than one quilt square)
If you cannot bring an item, please talk to Mrs. Goodrich BEFORE the first day of the sewing class.
Parents: If you have a sewing machine we can use, please let Mrs. Goodrich know ASAP. Thanks!
