Driving Etiquette on School Property
We’ve had several fender benders and scrapes in the student parking lot over the last couple of weeks. Please remind your student drivers that if they hit a car, even if it’s minor, they need to leave a note with their contact information or come to the front office and tell someone so we can help.
After-School Pick-Up Reminder
We have quite a few students who are lingering in the hallways after school and being disruptive to staff members who are trying to work. We ask that students be picked up by 3:45 each day unless they are in a sport/activity or receiving help from a teacher. If a student cannot be picked up by 3:45 for some reason they should either wait outside or in the cafeteria until their ride arrives.
During the 12:00-1:00 hour on Fridays, students should either be with a mentoring group or picked up by 12:15. Students in the hallways will be asked to either go to a mentoring session or wait outside for their ride.

11th Grade PSAT Day + Senior Graduation Prep Seminar: Wednesday, October 16
On Wednesday, October 16, all Maeser juniors will be given the opportunity to take the PSAT — a pre-SAT test offered by the College Board. This is a free opportunity for our juniors to enter the National Merit Scholarship Competition. PSAT Student Guides, which include a free practice test, were sent home with juniors this week.
In order to create a focused testing environment for our juniors, we have set aside this day for PSAT testing and our annual senior college application and graduation preparation seminar only. There will be NO SCHOOL on October 16 for students who are not in 11th or 12th grades. Please make other arrangements for your students in grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 on that day, as we will not have space or supervision available for them on our campus.
Maeser Science Fair
Our schoolwide Science Fair will be held on Wednesday, December 4 at 6:00pm in the Maeser lunchroom. Interested students should contact their science teachers for more information.
