Music California Tour 2019
Parents and students interested in participating in the music department’s Worldstrides music festival trip next spring, come to an information meeting next Monday, April 23 at 7:00 in the music room. If you are unable to be there, Mrs Vincent welcomes your emails to janice.vincent@maeserprep.org. We are considering three trip options, so if you would like to have a copy, come to the meeting.

SAGE Testing: Thursday & Friday, May 3-4
We appreciate all of the parent feedback we received after our SAGE testing day last year! We heard your concerns about student testing fatigue after such a long day of testing, and have made adjustments for this year’s SAGE administration. This year our school’s SAGE administration will take place on Thursday-Friday, May 3-4, from 8:00am to 12:30pm.
All students in grades 7, 8, 9, and 10, as well as seniors taking math or science classes with an associated SAGE exam, are scheduled to take SAGE tests. (Juniors will not be taking SAGE tests this year.) We will provide make-up opportunities for students who are unable to attend on May 3rd and 4th.
Only students who are scheduled to take SAGE tests this year should attend on May 3rd and 4th; students with no SAGE tests assigned or who have submitted Parental Exclusion forms should not be on campus that day. Please remind your student to bring earbuds/headphones, their **calculator**, and a book or other homework each day. If your student finishes all of their assigned SAGE tests before the end of testing on Friday, they may read or work on homework until the next testing break (10-10:30am or the end of the testing day at 12:30pm) and then call home to be checked out early.
If you would prefer to opt your student out of SAGE testing this year, please complete, sign, and return the Parental Exclusion Form either by email (info@maeserprep.org) or at the front desk (Mon-Thurs 7:30am-4:00pm, Fri 7:30am-1:00pm) by Wednesday, May 2nd, to allow us time to mark your student correctly in the testing system and update their attendance for SAGE Testing Day.
