Maeser Updates Summer Posting Schedule
Maeser Updates will be on hiatus for the summer break from July 1-28. Weekly Updates posts will resume on Friday, July 29.
PowerSchool Summer Availability
The PowerSchool parent and student portal will be taken offline on Friday, July 1 to allow us to perform summer updates and maintenance, and to create student schedules for 2022-23.
The parent and student portals will reopen on Monday, August 8 with 2022-23 schedule information. Schedule change information will be given at that time.
If your student is new to Maeser this year, you will receive an email the weekend before the system re-opens (August 5-7) with your parent login information for PowerSchool.
We are excited for the following faculty changes in the math department:
- Ted Gilbert is the new Middle School Dean and will no longer teach math.
- David McDaniel starts graduate school at BYU and will only teach part time.
- Sarah Bradley moved to Washington and will be missed.
- Ethan Wright is our new math teacher for next year who will be filling those holes.
Some student accomplishments in math:
- We had over 30 students get CE math credit through UVU and about 75% of our seniors took classes to receive college math credits.
- Our middle and high school math teams had a great year, with the high school team finishing 1st in the state in Math League and having 5 kids score in the top 25% in the state math contest.
