Summer Hours

The front office will have abbreviated hours during the month of June. June 7-25 the front office will be open from 8:30am to 12:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only and will be CLOSED on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The office and our school buildings will be CLOSED June 28-August 6 for the summer.

Have Your 2021-22 Plans Changed? Please Let Us Know ASAP!

If your plans for 2021-22 enrollment have changed and your student will not be attending Maeser Prep, please contact us ASAP to let us know by emailing us at registrar@maeserprep.orgplease include your student’s name, their 2021-22 grade, and the school they will be attending next year. We are sending out record requests for our new students and want to help you avoid having your student’s school file sent to the wrong school. We are also creating schedules for next year and want to make sure students can get into the classes they’ve requested.

School Uniforms

Due to the lack of storage space, Maeser will no longer accept uniform donations. If you have uniforms you do not need, please visit the Karl G Maeser Student to Student Uniform Swap FaceBook page to sell, donate, or exchange uniforms. Watch Maeser Updates and your email for details on upcoming Uniform Swaps and Sales.

All polos, blazers, sweaters, and cardigans MUST have the Maeser logo. Logoed items and high school plaid skirts can be purchased at Landsend.com and/or Dennis Uniform (online or in-person).

Non-logoed items (pants, shorts, khaki and navy skirts, dress shirts) can be purchased where any uniform style clothing is sold.

Search for “Maeser” under the “School” tab then “Find Your School”. When you shop on landsend.com’s Maeser pages, all items listed have been approved. Landsend.com will automatically add the logo to any uniform items that require the logo.

Report your volunteer hours once you’ve dropped off your donation: Report Parent Service Hours. Each $5 spent for donations counts as one hour of volunteer service!

Sports Announcements

Sports Academic Eligibility for FALL Sports

Eligibility for participation in any sports/activities during the 1st term of the 2021-2022 school year will be based on 4th term grades. Students (7th-12th) must earn a 2.7 GPA with no Fs/NGs. In addition, high school students cannot have any Fs/NGs/Incompletes from previous high school terms. If the F/NG/Incomplete is made up by the beginning of the sports season they will be able to participate.

Fall Sports Guide

For a list of the fall sports that are available at Maeser for both MS and HS students, click here: 2021 Maeser Fall Sports Guide. The Fall Sports Guide includes whether the team is boys, girls, or coed, if there is summer training, when tryouts are, who the coach is, and the coach’s contact information, if it is available.

Middle School Volleyball

Middle school boys and girls who are interested in volleyball are invited to open gyms on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning June 22nd, from 9:00-11:00am. If you would like to receive email updates please contact Coach Call at darci.call@maeserprep.org with a parent email and your Maeser email, if you have one.

High School Boys Volleyball

Open gyms are being held through the summer on Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00pm. Beginning June 21st they will also be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00-11:00am. High School Baseball (co-ed)

Open summer practices are Mondays-Fridays from 8:00-10:00am at Rotary Park (400 S 200 E, American Fork). Any student who will be in high school in the fall is invited. No previous experience required. Contact Coach Gilbert (ted.gilbert@maeserprep.org) if you have any questions.

High School Tennis (Girls and Boys)

If you are interested in playing high school tennis next school year (girls or boys), please reach out to Coach Smith for tryout information and optional summer practice schedules: timothy.smith@maeserprep.org.

Opt In For School Text Messages

Our school utilizes the SchoolMessenger system to deliver text messages to your mobile phone with important information about events, school closings, safety alerts, student fees, and more. We will only use text messaging for urgent and important information.

You can participate in this service by sending a text message of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587. You can also opt out of text messages at any time by simply replying to one of our messages with “Stop”.
