Senior Prom COVID Testing TODAY

Seniors attending PROM: here are a couple of housekeeping items for today’s testing:

  • Testing will start at 9:30 am.
  • The permission form is the original state Test to Play form and is not worded for one time activities. If your parent is having concerns about this, please have them X through the parts they are concerned about and write at the bottom: I GIVE PERMISSION FOR ONE TIME COVID TESTING TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN PROM. Signatures are required.
  • Yes, you all must test. The Utah Department of Health (UDOH) requires everyone test within 48 hours of an event such as PROM.
  • We will end testing promptly at 12, so please come earlier the better.
  • You must still wear masks to PROM.
  • If you have been vaccinated at least 2 weeks or more (2nd shot), please bring us a copy of your vaccination card during testing today so we can clear you for PROM.

So excited for this event for you all! Thank you for your patience as we navigate this unique experience together.

REMINDER: Parent School Climate Survey

PARENTS: Remember to submit your Utah School Climate Survey if you haven’t already responded! We are still collecting survey responses from parents, as well as our teachers, administrators, staff, and school resource officers. The data collected from the survey will be used to identify our community’s perceptions of school climate issues within our school.

The parent survey contains 33 questions and takes about six minutes to complete.

We would appreciate your taking a few minutes to complete this survey: Utah School Climate Survey for Parents

Surveys are collected through Qualtrics using anonymized links, and they do not collect personally identifiable information. All survey responses will be kept anonymous and confidential. School staff will use the results of these surveys to help inform our efforts at improving our school climate. Responses are housed securely in an anonymous format with the USBE (Utah State Board of Education). All evaluation research projects are in compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act, (343 CFR 99.31 (6)) and human subjects regulations (Protection of Human Subjects 45 CFR 46).

Spring Choir Concert: May 10 at 7:00pm

We’re having our first and only choir concert of the year at the school. The program will last about an hour. Of course our program features great music by the choirs, but it’ll also feature a few small groups and soloists! Come listen to some Disney, Musical Theater, Pentatonix and more! See you there!

Spring Orchestra Concert: May 12 at 7:00pm

It’s time for the Orchestra Spring Concert here in the school gym! The program will feature all three of our school orchestras, as well as some of the performances from this year’s solo and ensemble competition. You won’t want to miss your only chance to hear the orchestras live in concert this school year!

Sports Announcements

Sports Academic Eligibility for FALL Sports

Eligibility for participation in any sports/activities during the 1st term of the 2021-2022 school year will be based on 4th term grades. Students (7th-12th) must earn a 2.7 GPA with no Fs/NGs. In addition, high school students cannot have any Fs/NGs/Incompletes from previous high school terms.
