Senior Cap & Gown Pick-up: Wednesday, April 22
As we get closer to graduation, we realize that this isn’t the way any of us imagined celebrating the end of your Maeser experience, but we still want to celebrate you. We’ll be sharing more information about graduation soon, but we want you to have your cap and gown.
We have designated Wednesday, April 22nd as the day for “Cap and Gown Drive Thru Pickup”. Between 11am-1pm seniors can drive through the carpool drop off lane and receive their cap and gown.
To ensure proper social distancing the following guidelines must be followed:
- Seniors must stay in their cars
- No one will be allowed inside the school
- Mr Simmons and Mrs Ellis will give you your cap and gown (or put it in your trunk to avoid getting too close haha)
- Seniors who are unable to come to the drive through pickup should email Mr. Simmons to arrange an alternate pickup
If you have ordered your cap and gown in the last week, please bring your receipt to the drive thru pickup.
If you have not yet ordered your cap and gown, there is still time. Orders can be placed at Jostens.com (scroll down to the bottom of the page to see all of the different options).
We may have a few extra caps and gowns that we can rent out. Please email Mr. Simmons or Mrs. Ellis if you have questions.
Senior Celebratory Yard Signs
Our friends at Alphagraphics are able to print celebratory yard signs! If you’d like to order one, you can contact Alphagraphics directly at phild@alphagraphics.com.
If they receive orders for at least 50 signs from our school, they will give you each sign for $5. That’s a great deal! Email your senior’s picture to them and tell them you are a Maeser parent. They are set up and ready to go for you.
Classical Literature Scholarship {Applications Due Friday, April 24}
This scholarship is available only to Maeser seniors. Click here for details: Classical Literature Scholarship for Maeser Seniors. First prize is $600 and second prize is $300. Submissions must be emailed to Mr. Simmons (dustin.simmons@maeserprep.org) no later than Friday, April 24th, at 11:59pm.
Turning In and/or Returning Materials to the School
If you are returning materials to the school, PLEASE make sure you include your name and teacher on a post-it note. You may place materials on the table just inside the front doors (doors are open 9:00-2:00) or you can use the 24/7 drop box outside. Thank you!
