Re-Enrollment and New Student Lottery Applications Begin in November

Check your email every day next week for information and tips on how to re-enroll your CURRENT Maeser student
and submit applications for NEW students to reserve their spots for next year!

It’s almost time to start thinking about re-enrollment for the 2020-21 school year!

Re-enrollment for CURRENT Maeser students for the 2020-21 school year will begin on Monday, November 4.

Lottery applications for NEW students for the 2020-21 school year will open on Friday, November 1.

Please DO NOT submit an online application for your current Maeser student — online applications are for NEW students only.

Current Maeser Parents: Check your email on Monday, October 28 for more information!

ACT Prep Class — FREE for Sophomores

A FREE ACT class is being offered to Sophomores in November. The workshop consists of 3 classes held November 6, 13, and 20th from 3:45-7:45 pm to cover all the necessary skills needed to ACE the ACT. Sign ups are limited to the first 30 students and can be found at the front desk.

Each year since having this course, the cohort has increased their composite ACT scores. This year our composite ACT score average was 25.5, which is 5.2 points higher than the state average. Take advantage of this opportunity!

Sterling Scholar

All Seniors are invited to apply for Sterling Scholar. Sterling Scholar is a scholarship program in a variety of areas, including Music, English, Math, Art, and so much more. Seniors that are interested in applying should attend an information meeting on Tuesday, October 29th, during lunch in Mrs. Plott’s room (#302). Academic Eligibility for Winter Activities

Eligibility for Quarter 2 sports and activities will be based on your 1st term grades; eligibility during Winterim will be based on your Quarter 2 grades. You must have earned a 2.7 with no Fs/NGs. High School students cannot have any Fs/NGs from any previous high school terms.

Sports Announcements

High School Basketball Tryouts (Girls and Boys)

High School Basketball tryouts will be held on Monday and Tuesday, November 11-12. Girls tryouts will be held from 3:45-6pm and boys tryouts will follow from 6-9pm. Be on time and ready to play! Questions? Contact the coaches: Darci Call (girls) and Mas Watabe.

HS Wrestling

Come join our Wrestling team November 11, at the Arete gymnasium in Lindon from 4-6pm. We are excited to have another great season. We are looking for teammates who are motivated to learn new skills, determined to work hard, have fun, and be a leader, to reach personal goals and set new team records.
