Middle School Spelling Bee Results
Congratulations to our Middle School Spelling Bee winners!
1st: Samantha Howard (7th grade)

Both Samantha and Constance will participate in the Northern Utah Regional Spelling Bee held at Hillcrest Junior High in Murray on March 23, 2019.
NHS Fundraiser for the New Auditorium
“Be yourself, but always your better self.” ~ Karl G. Maeser
Our Maeser National Honor Society chapter is hosting a late-winter fundraiser for the New Auditorium. In the spirit of resolutions — and as an encouragement for you to get out and be your better self — we’re hosting the first ever Maeser Man 2019. This is an Iron Man, done on your own time over the course of about 6 weeks. You can sign up for doing a half OR a full Iron Man in that time period. Exercises can be done on a treadmill, stationary bike, outside, at a gym… basically whenever and wherever you please. You do the exercise, and upon completion (before March 8th), you’ll get to pick up your special Maeser Man t-shirt.
Feel great about reaching your fitness goals, while contributing to the betterment of our School Community!
Price: $20 per person, $100 per family
Signups will be available at the Front Office through Wednesday, January 30th.
Driver Education Class
Maeser will be hosting an after-school driver education class starting Monday, February 11. Visit the front desk to sign up! The cost is $230 and should be paid to the instructor on the first day of class. Questions? Contact Mike Wright at email@example.com.
Parent Volunteer Help Needed!
Pianist Needed for Semester 2 Choirs
Mrs. Groves is in need of a part-time accompanist for 3rd and 4th period choirs. If you are a pianist and would like to earn your volunteer hours quickly, PLEASE contact Mrs. Groves at firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP to discuss further!
District Science Fair
We are in need of volunteers to help for the District Science Fair on February 5 from 2:30-4:30pm (registration and 4:30-7:30pm (judges) at UVU. The Science Fair staff wil train you on what to do when you arrive, so no knowledge or experience needed!
Registration: We need 2-3 adults to help with Registration from 2:30-4:30pm.
Judging: We need 1 adult to help judge science projects from 4:30-7:30pm. (Judges will be fed dinner.)
