Middle School Intensives
Job Shadowing
Job shadowing for Middle School Intensives will be on Tuesday, January 9th. PLEASE be sure to fill out and return your student’s permission slip for this opportunity! Attendance will be taken for all students who do not turn in permission slips.
Supply List for CTE Textiles (MSI, 8th grade)
8th grade students will need to bring these items to their first MSI Sewing class:
- 2/3 yard of fleece fabric (60 inches wide) for making 2 hats
- 3 Buttons – a two hole, a four hole, and a shank button
- Two 8-inch squares of print cotton fabric for a quilt square (you may bring extra fabric for more than one quilt square)
If you cannot bring an item, please talk to Mrs. Goodrich BEFORE the day of class.
Help Needed for CTE Textiles
PARENTS: If you have a sewing machine we can use please let Mrs. Goodrich know ASAP. We also need volunteer help in the sewing class. Please contact Mrs. Goodrich for details – you don’t have to be a seamstress, even supervision is helpful! All classroom volunteers will need a current background check on file (see the front office for details).
Supply List for Ancient Food & Cloth (MSI, 7th grade)
7th grade students will need to bring these items to their first MSI Ancient Food & Cloth class:
- An old T-shirt (any size)
- A pair of scissors capable of cutting cloth without too much trouble
The shirt will be repurposed (in other words, don’t plan on getting it back in its original form).
