Trustlands

For the 2013-2014 school year, Trustlands monies were used to purchase two computer labs for our English classrooms. Teachers are beginning to use these computers for group work, daily writing assignments, and to increase the level of communication within the classroom pertaining to assignments and grading.


For the 2014-2015 school year, Trustlands monies were used to purchase two additional computer labs, equipment for the science department, and all sophomores at the school will have the opportunity to take an ACT prep course.


For the 2015-2016 school year Trustland monies were used to purchase two additional Chromebook labs, hire an ACT instructor to teach ACT courses to our sophomores, and purchase cameras for our photography course.


For the 2016-2017 school year, Trustland monies were used to purchase a new computer lab, two Chromebook labs for our classrooms, hire an ACT instructor to teach ACT courses to our sophomores, and purchase additional cameras for our photography course.


For the 2017-2018 school year, Trustland monies were used to purchase five new Chromebook labs, of which four were placed in classrooms, and one in the library. An ACT instructor was hired to teach three ACT prep courses throughout the school year. Every sophomore had the opportunity to enroll in the course at no cost. Equipment was purchased for two new CTE courses that were offered. The courses were Desktop Publishing and Video Productions. New books for the library were purchased to increase the selections for our students. A 5-string violin was purchased to assist our music teachers. Document cameras were purchased for classrooms.


For the 2018-2019 school year Trustland monies were used to provide professional development workshops for teachers, new Chromebook labs in the math classrooms, new equipment for CTE and drama courses, the purchase of art history for the Socratic classes, the hiring of an ACT instructor who taught three classes over the course of the year, the purchase of an online academic journal called JSTOR, double sided white boards for the math classes, new laptops for teachers, and docking stations for classrooms.
