Important Carpool Updates

We have two important traffic updates that affect carpool pickup and drop-off:

Right turns only when leaving the school parking lot

During carpool hours, left turns out of the school parking lot are not allowed at either entrance/exit. Please turn right only when exiting from either side of campus.

With construction on 1600 N and the overflow traffic it is pushing onto 400 W, a single car waiting to turn left can stall the entire carpool line, back up our parking lot, and block families trying to enter. Right turns keep everyone moving.

No left turn into school from eastbound 1600 North

UDOT has adjusted the traffic pattern on 1600 North. If you are heading eastbound (coming up the hill), you can no longer turn left into the school. Please see these three maps for alternate routes into campus:

There was an accident on 1600 N near the school entrance this week, so we are asking every family to follow these patterns carefully. Our priority is keeping students, parents, and staff safe while traffic in this area is congested.

Please share these updates with anyone else who picks up or drops off your student.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation!

Little Women Auditions

Auditions for the Fall musical, Little Women, will be held on Friday, August 21st from 1-5 PM. Students should prepare 16 bars (about 30 seconds) of a song from a musical. No sign up needed, just show up!

High School Shakespeare

Auditions for the High School Shakespeare Team will be held August 27th from 3:45-6:00 PM in the Drama Room. Students should prepare a 30 second monologue from a Shakespeare play.

Any one interested in participating in the ensemble scene should come to the Drama room (121) at 12:30 on August 28th. No audition required to participate in the ensemble scene!

Lindon City: Free Fall Events for Families

Lindon City is offering several no-cost fall workshops for parents, and the city has invited our Maeser community to participate. Topics include family values, turning conflict into connection, and strengthening relationships. Please see the flyers below for details!

Volunteer Opportunities

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Current parent volunteer opportunities are always available at this link and will be updated regularly.

Parent-Teacher Conference Meal

Our teachers will be working extra hard and staying late for parent-teacher conferences on September 10. Let’s show our appreciation by providing them with a meal! Please sign up to bring food by 3:00 PM or help with cleanup at 6:30 PM.

Microwaves Needed

Get Volunteer Hours in early by donating a microwave to the school.  With our expansion, we are in need of 8 new, small microwave ovens for students to warm their lunches in the cafeteria this year.  Donation of 1 microwave = 40 hours of family volunteer time.

Report Your Volunteer Hours

DON’T FORGET! Report your volunteer hours once you’ve dropped off your donation: Report Parent Service Hours. Each $5 spent for donations counts as one hour of volunteer service!
