Seeking Parent and Grandparent Candidates

Are you interested in having a direct voice in how Maeser’s Trust Lands funds are spent? We are officially opening the nomination period for the 2026–2028 School Community Council (SCC).

The SCC plays a vital role in our school’s success. This council is responsible for reviewing school-wide data and developing the School LAND Trust Plan, which allocates state funding to academic programs, technology, and student support initiatives.

Why Serve on the Council?

As a member of the SCC, you will:

  • Collaborate with school administration and faculty to identify academic needs.
  • Directly influence the allocation of School LAND Trust funds.
  • Assist in the development of the School Professional Development Plan.
  • Provide a voice for the parent and grandparent community in our “Classical Education” environment.

Commitment & Eligibility

  • Term: A two-year commitment (Fall 2026 through Spring 2028).
  • Meetings: The council typically meets once a quarter for approximately one hour.
  • Eligibility: To be eligible for a parent/grandparent position, you must have a student enrolled at the school for at least one of the two years of your term.

How to Apply:  3 Open Seats for ‘26-’28

These donations can count towards your volunteer hours. For more details and to sign up, please visit our SignUpGenius: Teacher Treats. Thank you for your generosity.

Report Your Volunteer Hours

DON’T FORGET! Report your volunteer hours once you’ve dropped off your donation: Report Parent Service Hours. Each $5 spent for donations counts as one hour of volunteer service!

In addition, we use your contact information to notify you about important school events and school fees deadlines. Here’s how to make sure you’re getting all of our important announcements and information:
