Lunch Options This Week
On days that the school uses the preorder forms, please let your child know they will have 10 minutes to get their lunch and after 10 minutes we will start selling the extras to students who did not preorder.

2026-27 School Year Offers for Siblings of Current Students
If you submitted an application for a sibling who will be NEW to Maeser NEXT school year, you can expect to receive their offer on Wednesday, February 11. You will have until Monday, February 16 to accept the offer and you will have until Wednesday, February 18 to complete their enrollment. Please watch your email and be ready to accept & enroll so you meet these deadlines. If you have any questions, please contact our registrar at [email protected].
Maeser Sestercentennial Essay/Art Contest
In celebration of the 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Maeser is sponsoring an essay and artwork contest with cash prizes. There is a high school division and a middle school division.

Maeser On Ice!
Maeser Robotics is hosting Maeser On Ice on February 20th from 1-3pm. This is a school wide event for Maeser families, Alumni and Students. The robotics team is renting out Peaks Ice Area and selling tickets at the door and in Mr. Summer’s room (223) from February 9-19. This is an amazing opportunity to get a discount and skate with friends and family. Single tickets are $10, couples $15 and families 4+ are $35.
Proposed New Fee: Public Comment Period Open Through March 10, 2026
A new $50 Team Manager fee has been proposed as an addition to the 2025-26 Fee Schedule & Spend Plan. It will cover transportation to games ($25) and team gear ($25). If you would like to share any feedback with the board before their final approval of the Team Manager fee at their March board meeting, you may:

Brighton Ski/Snowboard Program
Come to Brighton Ski/Snowboard for family and friends of Maeser. It is $235 for 5 Friday nights, Feb 20 – Mar 20, and includes a 2 hour group lesson and the night lift pass for those Fridays. After the lesson you may ski/board for the rest of the night. If you don’t have a season pass to Brighton, be sure to select the “lift access upgrade”. If you have a season pass to Brighton, don’t select the “lift access upgrade”, lessons only are $185.
Plan on being there at 4 pm because the classes leave at 4:15 sharp. This price doesn’t include rentals. Maeser students, family members, and faculty/staff and their families of all ages 8 and older are welcome. The link to sign up is https://shop.brightonresort.com/l/private-programs/p/maeser-prep-2526
Signups will close two weeks before the first class or whenever the slots are full, whichever comes first. Maeser is not sponsoring this. Transportation to Brighton is not included but the price does include the parking pass for the nights of the program. This is a service provided by Brighton for the Maeser community. Sports Announcements
Sports Physicals
All students, middle school and high school, who will be playing sports during the 2025-2026 school year need a physical in order to play. Physicals completed on or after March 10, 2025 will be good until July 15, 2026. Here is the link to the UHSAA form which Maeser uses for ALL athletes: UHSAA Physical Form.
3rd Term Sports Academic Eligibility
9th-12th Graders
Eligibility for activities/sports during the 3rd term of the 2025-2026 school year for 9th-12th graders will be based on 2nd term grades. Students must have earned a GPA of 2.7 with no Fs/NGs. In addition, 10th-12th graders must be on track for graduation.
7th-8th Graders
Eligibility for activities/sports during the 3rd term of the 2025-2026 school year for 7th and 8th graders will be based on 2nd term grades. Students must earn a GPA of 2.7 with no Fs/NGs.

Counseling Announcements
Junior CCR Sign-Ups
Junior College and Career Readiness meetings (CCRs) will run through the end of February 2026. Parents are invited to attend with their Juniors. Freshman CCR Sign-Ups
9th grade CCRs are now underway and will run through the first week of April. These meetings are held annually to keep you on track with your goals and graduation requirements. Counseling Donations Needed
The School Counseling Team needs donations of large bags of individually wrapped candy. Donations can count toward volunteer hours! Candy Details:
- Type: An assortment, including chocolate, hard candies (like Jolly Ranchers), Tootsie Pops or Rolls, and other assorted bags. Please include some non-chocolate options as well.
- Quantity: 4–5 bags per month.
Can We Reach You In Case Of Emergency?
It’s important to keep your contact information up to date and opt-in to receive text messages from Maeser — in case of an emergency, this is how we notify parents! In addition, we use your contact information to notify you about important school events and school fees deadlines. Here’s how to make sure you’re getting all of our important announcements and information:
Opt In For School Text Messages
Our school utilizes the SchoolMessenger system to deliver text messages to your mobile phone with important information about events, school closings, safety alerts, student fees, and more. We will only use text messaging for urgent and important information. You can participate in this service by sending a text message of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587. You can also opt out of text messages at any time by simply replying to one of our messages with “Stop”.
