Microwaves are available in the lunchroom for students who bring lunch from home. Please note: we do NOT have refrigerator facilities for student use.
Carpool News
The Church has asked that Maeser Parents/Students do NOT use their parking lot as a drop off/pick up lane. The school ONLY has a Negotiated Risk Agreement in place for the faculty to park in very specific areas of the parking lot and only for very specific hours. Parents/Students who use the church as their personal carpool lane are putting that agreement in jeopardy. We understand that it may take a few extra minutes to get through our carpool line.
TIP: Dropping off between 7:30 am -7:40 am, there is very little traffic. In the afternoon, students take extra time going to lockers and talking with teachers, so that if you come at 3:40 pm your wait-time is cut virtually in half!
TODAY: Middle School Shakespeare
The middle school Shakespeare team has its first rehearsal TODAY, Friday, August 15 at 12:30 PM in the cafeteria. No need to audition! Just come if you are interested in participating. More information re: competition dates, rehearsal schedule, chaperone opportunities, etc. will be disseminated at that time. Direct all questions to Mr. Harmon at jonathan.harmon@maeserprep.org or Mz. Ure at laura.ure@maeserprep.org.
TODAY: HS Back-to-School Stomp
Friday, August 15 is the Back-2-School Scribble Stomp from 8-11pm in the Maeser Gym. All high school students are invited! The theme is colors so come dressed up as a singular color!!
Robotics Info Meeting
There will be a meeting for Middle School and High School students interested in robotics on Monday, August 18th, at 3:45 pm in room 223. We will be discussing the season requirements, ways to participate, and gauging interest for the two teams.
Summer Reading Book Club Night
All students and parents are invited to attend our Book Club Night on Thursday, August 21st from 6-7:30pm! Come and participate in a Socratic discussion about The Outsiders. Even if you didn’t read (or finish) the book, this is a great opportunity to learn more about Socratic discussions and gain some insight into how things work at Maeser. We’ll have light refreshments afterwards.
Math Tutoring Lab
Maeser offers a free math tutoring lab Mondays-Thursdays. It is held before school in room #302 (from 7:15am to 7:45am) and after school in room #304 (from 3:45am to 4:15pm). This is open to all students in any level of math.
Student Fees: Due Wednesday, October 1
Heads up! Annual fee(s) have been charged to your student’s account, if applicable. Annual fees include a PE uniform for 7th graders*, Winterim for high schoolers, and Graduation for seniors. Fees are due on Wednesday, October 1.
* If your 7th grader does not pick up a PE uniform in class because they already have one, the teacher will let us know & we will remove the fee from their account.
In a couple weeks, schedule changes will settle down and we will add any applicable class fees to student accounts. Those are also due on Wednesday, October 1. PLEASE NOTE: AP exams not paid for by the deadline will result in your student being dropped from the class.
If you think you may qualify for a fee waiver, please email finance@maeserprep.org for an application before Wednesday, October 1.
If you have any questions, please email finance@maeserprep.org. We are happy to help.

2025-26 1st Term Sports/Activities Eligibility
10th-12th Graders
Eligibility for activities/sports during the 1st term of the 2025-2026 school year for 10th-12th graders will be based on 4th term grades. Students must have earned a GPA of 2.7 with no Fs/NGs. In addition, 10th-12th graders must be on track for graduation. If students fail a class during the 4th term they can make up the class through summer school or other online options (counselors have more information on other options) and the class must be made up by the first day of school in August.
8th-9th Graders
Eligibility for activities/sports during the 1st term of the 2025-2026 school year for 8th and 9th graders will be based on 4th term grades in science, math, and English. Students also cannot have any NGs in any classes. If students fail any of these classes during the 4th term they must attend summer school to make up the class or if they have any NGs in any class they will not be eligible for fall sports.
New Maeser Students
New students who will be in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades will need to provide Activities Director Jared Norris (jared.norris@maeserprep.org) with a copy of their 4th term grades from their previous school.
