Have Your 2025-26 Plans Changed?
If your plans for 2025-26 enrollment have changed and your student will not be attending Maeser Prep, please contact us ASAP to let us know by emailing us at registrar@maeserprep.org. Please include your student’s name, their 2025-26 grade, and the school they will be attending next year, so we can make sure your student’s school file is sent to the correct school.

2025-26 Class Schedules
Thank you for your patience while we put the finishing touches on student schedules for 2025-26! The parent and student portals will open at 10:00am on Monday, August 4 with 2025-26 class schedules. Schedule change information will be given at that time. If your student is NEW to Maeser this year, you will receive an email Monday morning with your parent login information for PowerSchool.

Meet Your Teachers Night
Thursday, August 7 from 6-7:30pm at Maeser
Sometimes it’s nice to simply put a face to a name! Come mingle and meet your student’s new teachers and learn more about opportunities to support and help Maeser. You can access class schedules on PowerSchool beforehand and meander the halls of Maeser to say hi to your student’s teachers. This will be a casual meet-and-greet style gathering, with light refreshments provided in the cafeteria.
Maeser Orientation For New Students & Parents
Friday, August 8th
9:00am-noon
All new students and their parents.
Please join us for our annual Maeser orientation, which is designed for all new students and their parents. After a brief introduction in the gym, middle school students (7th and 8th grade) will receive their schedule and go to each of their classes on a shortened schedule. High school students will participate in student-led workshops to introduce them to the culture and expectations of Maeser students. Parents will have a parent-specific orientation and FAQ session.
Due to construction, you should enter the Maeser parking lot from 400 West. Parking will be limited to the student parking lot (on the north end of the building), along 400 West, and on the southeast corner of the Vivint parking lot (at the corner of 1600 North and 400 West).
Students should wear their regular dress uniform to orientation.
Required School Supplies For All Middle School Students
All middle school students should come prepared on the first day of school with the following required materials for the SOAR Binder and Home File used for all middle school classes:
- 1 1/2 “ heavy duty binder with view cover – the ONE SOAR binder used in all classes
- Loose lined paper to go in binder
- One plastic folder with pockets for each individual class (Avery 8 tab Binder Pockets work well)
- Writing utensils—REQUIRED: Pen- blue or black ink only, Red pen for editing
- Pencil Pouch that fits in binder rings – may contain individual pencil sharpener, stapler, one hole punch.
- 1 File folder for each individual class (For home file)
- A box or container for file folders (For home file)
HS Fall Play Auditions: Pride & Prejudice
Auditions for this year’s Fall play will be held on August 13th and 14th after school from 3:45-6:00 PM and are open to all students in grades 9-12. Students should come prepared for cold readings. No sign up necessary, just show up! Callbacks, for those invited, will be held Friday, August 15th from 12:30-6:00 PM. Students will not be required to attend the entire callback session.
Used Uniform Sale: Monday, August 4
All Maeser families are invited to join us on Monday August 4, 6-7:30 PM in the Maeser Gym for the Used Uniform Sale. This sale is an opportunity to allow parents to sell their old uniforms, and for parents to purchase needed uniforms in good condition at a low cost.
We will only be selling items that parents bring to sell. Please bring your used uniforms to sell!!!
To sell items: Drop off labeled items (envelope safety pinned to item, labeled with Name, Phone, Venmo QR code, Description, Price) that have been laundered along with the Parent Waiver Form (Form) to the volunteer at Maeser (lunchroom) on Monday Aug 4, 8:00-9:30am or 3:30-5:45pm. All unsold items need to be picked up within 20 minutes of the close of the sale. Any money or clothing not picked up will be considered a donation to the school.
The used uniform sale is mostly CASH ONLY — bring lots of $1 and $5. If parents who are selling items would like to write their Venmo Username (with QR code or last 4 digits of phone) on their envelopes, you can use Venmo too.
To help our school community, the Maeser Uniform Committee has created a suggested guideline for pricing:

School Uniforms by Tommy Hilfiger, our school uniform provider, is having a Buy More, Save More promotion for our families next week (August 6-11) in case you’re still doing school uniform shopping for fall.

HS Boys Volleyball Tryouts

MS Boys Soccer Tryouts
Tryouts for the MS boys soccer team will be held on Tuesday August 12th from 4-5:30 pm and Wednesday August 13th from 4:30- 5:45 pm at Maeser. For more information please contact Coach Riss at danielle.riss@maeserprep.org
HS Cross Country Conditioning
Summer conditioning is ongoing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00am-9:15am at the field south of the Lindon Temple (200 S Murdock Canal Trail in Lindon: 40°20’02.2″N 111°41’40.3″W). Bring water and wear athletic shoes and attire. Note there is no bathroom, so please prepare accordingly. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Kreitzer: josh.kreitzer@maeserprep.org. All high school students who are interested and physically capable of participating are invited to join us!
Sports Physicals
All students, middle school and high school, who will be playing sports during the 2025-2026 school year need a physical in order to play. Physicals completed on or after March 10, 2025 will be good until July 15, 2026. Here is the link to the UHSAA form which Maeser uses for ALL athletes: UHSAA Physical Form.
2025-26 1st Term Sports/Activities Eligibility
10th-12th Graders
Eligibility for activities/sports during the 1st term of the 2025-2026 school year for 10th-12th graders will be based on 4th term grades. Students must have earned a GPA of 2.7 with no Fs/NGs. In addition, 10th-12th graders must be on track for graduation. If students fail a class during the 4th term they can make up the class through summer school or other online options (counselors have more information on other options) and the class must be made up by the first day of school in August.
8th-9th Graders
Eligibility for activities/sports during the 1st term of the 2025-2026 school year for 8th and 9th graders will be based on 4th term grades in science, math, and English. Students also cannot have any NGs in any classes. If students fail any of these classes during the 4th term they must attend summer school to make up the class or if they have any NGs in any class they will not be eligible for fall sports.
New Maeser Students
New students who will be in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades will need to provide Activities Director Jared Norris (jared.norris@maeserprep.org) with a copy of their 4th term grades from their previous school.

Can We Reach You In Case Of Emergency?
It’s important to keep your contact information up to date and opt-in to receive text messages from Maeser — in case of an emergency, this is how we notify parents! In addition, we use your contact information to notify you about important school events and school fees deadlines.
Here’s how to make sure you’re getting all of our important announcements and information:
Opt In For School Text Messages
Our school utilizes the SchoolMessenger system to deliver text messages to your mobile phone with important information about events, school closings, safety alerts, student fees, and more. We will only use text messaging for urgent and important information.
You can participate in this service by sending a text message of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587.
You can also opt out of text messages at any time by simply replying to one of our messages with “Stop”.
Update Your Contact Information
If any of your contact information has changed – email address, mailing address, phone number – please let us know asap so we can be sure you’re getting school and teacher communications.
