$25 late fee assessed on all accounts with outstanding balances. Beginning December 1, a $25 late fee will be assessed every month for outstanding balances.

Winterim Fee Payment Deadline: THIS Wednesday, November 15

Winterim fees are due this Wednesday, November 15. If Winterim fees are unpaid after that date, your student will be dropped from their Winterim selection and assigned to a Credit Recovery/Directed Readings class with a $25 fee. Sports and Winterim fees may not be put on a payment plan. If you need to set up a payment plan for other fees, please email finance@maeserprep.org.

MS Thank You Thanksgiving Feast Pot-Luck: Thursday, November 16

The middle school is having a Thank You Thanksgiving Feast Pot-Luck November 16 from 3:45-5:00. Entrance into the feast is simply bringing a dish to share. We have asked students to bring the following items based off of their last name:

  • A-D dessert
  • E-H salad
  • I-L carbs (rolls, bread, chips)
  • M-P fruits/veggies
  • Q-T Drinks
  • U-Z Potatoes/Rice

Broadway Rocks!

Do you love a good showtune? Mark your calendars and plan to join us on Saturday, November 18th at 7:00pm as one-quarter of our student body comes together to perform a great selection of Broadway showtunes! Admission is only $1 at the door.

Maeser HS Drama Presents: The Survivor

Teens in the Warsaw ghetto smuggled food, saved thousands of lives, and formed an armed resistance against the Nazis. One survived. Join Maeser’s high school drama students as they present The Survivor by Susan Nanus.

When? 11/29 @ 7pm, 11/30 @ 8pm, 12/1 @ 1pm and 8pm, and 12/2 @ 1pm, 5pm, and 8pm
Where? Maeser Studio Theatre (room 119 at the school)
How much? Students $5, Adults, $7, Preview & Student Matinee $4

Annual Science Fair

The Annual Science Fair will be held at 6pm on December 6th in the Cafeteria. All Middle School and High School students interested in competing must submit a full application to Mr. Kreitzer (room 151) by November 21st. For more information, see your science teacher or Mr. Kreitzer.

Counseling Announcements

Sophomore CCRs Start This Tuesday

Have a student in 10th grade this year? It is time to schedule an appointment with your student’s counselor for their Sophomore College and Career readiness meeting! We will cover important information about being on track for graduation in high school and preparing for college; the students will also be selecting their course requests for next year. Appointments begin on Nov 14th and run through Dec 7th. *Please make sure you are in the correct time-zone on your Google calendar so you don’t miss your appointment! All our appointment times are within school hours.

College Application Month

Fee Waiver codes for college applications will be in effect throughout the month of November. The following colleges have given us fee waiver codes:

Spring ACT Prep Course Sign-up

Sophomores: The last session of our ACT Prep course will be helf in March. Sign up for FREE at front desk! Freshmen and Juniors are also invited to sign up for $125.

MS Spelling Bee

Tennis Opportunity for Boys Grades 7-8 and Girls Grades 7-9

Tennis for 7-8 grade boys and 7-9 grade girls: Join the Utah Valley Tennis spring league to learn tennis and have a lot of fun. The registration deadline is March 5 and cost is $120. The season goes from March 12-May 5 with two after-school practices and one match per week.
