Winterfest!
We are ecstatic to celebrate the accomplishments and learning experiences that our students have been having over the past three weeks of Winterim and MSI. From cooking to baking, from calligraphy to dance, from Korean to Japanese culture and beyond, our students have been involved in amazing experiences. Winterfest is your chance to peer inside these experiences and leave both uplifted and inspired.
Winterfest is an open house from 4:30pm to 7:00pm. Of note, there will be dancing performances from 4:30-5:00 in the gym and a mock trial demonstration in room 212 starting at 5pm. For more details about where each Winterim class will be setting up, please check out our Winterfest 2025 Brochure.
Winterim Used Uniform Sale
All Maeser families are invited to join us on Thursday January 23, 4:30-6:30 PM (during Winterfest) in the Maeser Library (upstairs) for the parent swap. This sale is an opportunity for parents to sell their old uniforms, and for parents to purchase needed uniforms in good condition at a low cost.
We will only be selling items that parents bring to sell. Please bring your used uniforms to sell!!!
To sell items: Drop off labeled items (envelope safety pinned to item, labeled with Name, Phone, Venmo QR code, Description, Price) that have been laundered along with the Parent Waiver Form (available at drop off) to the volunteer on Thursday January 23, 8:30-9:15 AM in the lunchroom or 3:30-4:30 PM in the Maeser Library. All unsold items MUST be picked up within 30 minutes of the close of the sale. Any money or clothing not picked up by 7:00 PM will be considered a donation to the school.
The used uniform sale is mostly CASH ONLY — bring lots of $1 and $5. If parents who are selling items would like to write their Venmo Username (with QR code or last 4 digits of phone) on their envelopes, they can use Venmo too.
To help our school community, the Maeser Uniform Committee has created a suggested guideline for pricing:
Polo shirts: $3-$5
Dress shirts: $3-$5
Cardigans: $10
Shorts: $2-$4
Pants: $2-$5
Skirts: $5
PE clothing: $2-$5
Ties: $5
Blazers: $25
Embroidered Sweater $10
Sweatshirts: $10
Hooded Jackets: $10 – $15
2nd Annual Midnight Madness
After Winterfest, we will have our 2nd Annual Midnight Volleyball Tournament starting at 7:30pm. Students, alumni, parents, and teachers can sign up using the link sent to students from Mr. Simmons.
LAST DAY To Claim Lost & Found Items
Our Lost & Found bins are overflowing!
We will be going through the Lost & Found tomorrow (Wednesday) after school. If your student is missing something, please remind them to check the Lost & Found in the cafeteria under the microwaves by 2:00pm TOMORROW, Wednesday, January 22. We will be taking everything to DI on Wednesday after school. (If for any reason the bins are emptied before the end of school on Wednesday, please ask your student to check with the front office.)
