School Picture Retake Day

Did your student miss Picture Day in September or do they need a redo? Picture Retake Day is this Monday, October 21 from 8am to noon. If your student needs a retake and you ordered a photo packet, please be sure to send the original photo packet to school with your student on Retake Day.

On-Campus Advisory Friday & Trunk Or Treat

Next Friday, October 25, is the first Advisory Friday of the term. As such, it is a mandatory on campus day. Students will meet with their Advisory teachers from 9-10am, and then we will have the Trunk-or-Treat until 12pm. Students are welcome to wear a Halloween costume that meets the following guidelines:

  • No masks/face coverings (We need to be able to tell who you are)
  • No excessive blood/gore
  • No weapons
  • You are not required to wear your school uniform underneath your costume, but your costume should cover as much as your uniform would cover
  • You cannot wear regular/street clothes and claim that is a costume. None of this “I’m a public school student” while wearing jeans and an oversized hoodie. Be creative!

Because of the in-person Advisory and Trunk-or-Treat, teachers will not be available to help with school work, so there will be no LSP this week.

Here’s the schedule for Advisory Friday:

9-10am In-Person Advisory on campus
10am-12pm Trunk-or-Treat

Here’s how to make sure you’re getting all of our important announcements and information:

Opt In For School Text Messages

Our school utilizes the SchoolMessenger system to deliver text messages to your mobile phone with important information about events, school closings, safety alerts, student fees, and more. We will only use text messaging for urgent and important information.

You can participate in this service by sending a text message of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587.

You can also opt out of text messages at any time by simply replying to one of our messages with “Stop”.
