Halloween Costumes will be allowed at school and at HS Halloween Stomp on Friday. The following rules must be observed:
- No masks or make-up that obscures facial features
- No gore
- Modest (costume must cover what normal unforms do)
- No cross-dressing
- No costume items or props that resemble weapons
Students who do not follow these rules will be required to call home for a parent to either deliver their Maeser uniform or check the student out to return home.

Maeser will be closed for Fall Break on Thursday and Friday, October 19 and 20. School will resume on Monday, October 23.
Quarter 1 NG Make-up
Tuesday, October 31 is the LAST day to make up Quarter 1 NGs. If your student has an NG (No Grade) in one or more Quarter 1 classes, please talk with them about making those up in attendance school before the October 31 deadline. Questions? HS Boys Volleyball State Tournament HOME GAME This Wednesday!
Our high school boys volleyball team has a HOME GAME this Wednesday, October 25, at 6:00pm. This is the first round of the State Tournament! Come support the team!
Halloween Activities: Friday, October 27
Halloween Costumes
Students will be allowed to wear Halloween costumes on Friday, October 27, both at school and at the high school Halloween Stomp that evening. The following rules must be observed:
- No masks or make-up that obscures facial features
- No gore
- Modest (costume must cover what normal unforms do)
- No cross-dressing
- No costume items or props that resemble weapons

Trunk or Treat
The high school student council is sponsoring our annual Trunk or Treat during Mentoring on Friday, October 27 in the north (student) parking lot. Dress up! See the costume rules listed above.
Students who drive: decorate the trunk of your car for Trunk or Treat!
Parents: Student council would love for you to donate bags of candy for this event. Candy should be dropped off at the front office — and don’t forget to count this for volunteer hours!
HS Halloween Stomp
8:00-11:00pm in the Maeser gym – admission is $5. Dress up! See the costume rules listed above.
Service Opportunity: Serve Dinner at the Food and Care Coalition
On Wednesday, October 25 and Tuesday, October 31, Mrs. Cannon’s and Mr. Geary’s Mentoring Class will be serving dinner at the Provo Food and Care Coalition. We will leave right after school. All are welcome to participate! You will need a change of clothes and a snack. We will be back to the school between 6:30-7:00pm. This is an awesome opportunity. Driver Education Course
Wright Driving School will be offering an early-morning driver education class at Maeser starting on October 30 and ending on November 9.
